Funder Spotlight
We are deeply grateful for the support of two new funding partners whose investments will enhance our programs and facilities:
We’re excited to share that Fiver has been awarded PwC’s Reimagine Grant of $25,000 to support our college and career pathway programming. This funding will enhance initiatives like our Junior, Senior, and Graduate Institutes, personalized workshops, and college tours, all designed to prepare participants for postsecondary success. From guiding students through college applications to exposing them to diverse educational environments, this grant helps us provide inclusive, future-focused programming that empowers participants to confidently navigate their educational and career journeys. A special shout-out to Fiver alum Leslie, who now works at PwC and played an integral role in supporting this process—proof of the lasting impact of the Fiver community!
We’re thrilled to announce that St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hamilton has awarded Fiver a generous $45,000 grant, one of our largest Central New York awards to date. This funding will support the purchase of a used minivan for Camp Fiver and improvements to our arts, sports, and facilities, enhancing the camp experience for all participants. We’re grateful for St. Thomas Episcopal Church’s commitment to addressing income inequality, racism, and power disparities, and for their dedication to making a meaningful impact in the community.
Looking Ahead
The addition of these new leaders, funders, and board members reflects Fiver’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for growth, representation, and impact across every aspect of our organization. Together, we are building a future where every young person has the tools and support they need to thrive.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand and deepen our impact in 2025!
